And I am running a Mac OS X 10.6.4, with a standard Mac keyboard (the Apply bluetooth keyboard), inputting with the "US" language setting - i dont think this has anything to do with my computer settings.ġ. I have never seen any similar behavior in any other mac softwares. I also tried "OPTION+," - some weird character showed up in the input box which i have no idea, and there is not even a comma "," as i have pressed. Normally you should see a "^," to represent my setting. But there is ONLY the "," comma displayed, and not showing the modifier key "control". According to the manual this should indicate the current active shortcut. It seems the combination was accepted, as the "Assign Key" button un-grayed so i can hit to apply the setting. Now the weird thing came: the shortcut input box won't accept the COMMAND modifier key: pressing the COMMAND and the comma key resulted nothing in the shortcut input box, and the "Assign Key" button to the right was still grayed.Īfter a number of tries without luck, i decided to see if the "CONTROL+," would work. I want to assign the "COMMAND+," for the Preferences because this is a shortcut for "Preferences" normally used by many mac softwares. ![]() The first 2 shortcuts i wanna setup were for the Preferences and "Short Cut." I quickly find the Short cut command in the File menu, and that was quick. ![]() And this was also the first thing i was trying to do with TCAD.
